i'm sorry for the delay in posting new posts. i've very busy nowadays.
anyway, i've discussed with my group mates on techniques and strategies to memorize the Quran easier, we went through some concepts in memory.


these are the techniques that we have discussed :

Repetition: I will read the Surahs until I am familiar with it..

Phonological Loop: I will listen to the recitation from the imams.

Repetition and Phonological Loop: I will read the Surah while listening to the imams.

Meaningful Learning: I will try to understand the meaning while listening the verse.

Chunking and Maintenance Rehearsal: I will memorize the Surah by dividing the verses. For example: Yaa-sin has 83 verses, so I divides to 10 verses per day. Every time I has memorize the new verses, I need to remember back the verses that I have memorized before.Same goes to Al-Mulk.
and if the verse is very long, i could chunk it into meaningful short sentences, so it'll be easier to remember.

Visual Imagery: after I have finished memorized the whole Surah, I can write down the surah back without looking to the Quran.

Rote Learning: then, I can ask help from my friend to listen and correct my recitation of the Surahs or tasmi'..
